Day 1 Transfer from your hotel to the Wellawaya Park where you can see wild elephants at the safari lake.
You got he choice to stay at the Tusk Camp (camping) or to proceed to Ella to enjoy walking trips in the fresh, cool air. Recommended walks are Ella Rock, Little Adams Peak and Rawana Waterfalls.

Optional visit to Bandarawela for traditional Ayurveda treatment.

Day 2 Early morning train to “Little England”, Nuwara Eliya, in the observation carriage to guarantee best view. Our driver will meet you with your luggage at the train station and transfer you to your hotel. Excursion to Worlds End in the afternoon (camping optional).

Day 3 & 4 We proceed to Kandy where we will visit Kandy city with shopping opportunities, the Temple of the Tooth, Kandyan dancing, the botanical gardens
Overnight in Kandy
(optional one day Kandy + one day excursion to a Vhedda village, the indigenous people of Sri Lanka).

Day 5 Visit of Sigiriya the famous rock fortress and Polonnaruwa, the ancient city.
Overnight in Dambulla

Day 6 On our last the we visit the other former royal city of Anuradhapura and on the way back to your hotel we will stop over at the Pinawella Elephant Orphanage and a typical Sri Lankan spice garden.

Optional: send an additional day in Colombo for shopping and sightseeing.
